The Helium Content Source Team

Janice Brand

General Manager, Helium

From the world of magazines to the universe of the Internet, Janice Brand has written and edited such publications as Travel & Leisure, Boston magazine and CIO. She worked closely with online launches for such companies as Microsoft and IDG. Since introducing Helium Content Source in 2010, she and her team have delivered projects for large corporations, mid-size publishers and small businesses. When not matchmaking great writers with eager clients, she enjoys fly-fishing, gardening and dancing.

Ed Murray

Director, Helium Content Source

Ed Murray joined Helium Content Source in 2011. He leads the team responsible for the proposals, oversight and management of content-creation projects that are a cost-effective solution for publishers looking to stretch a budget and for businesses that want reliable answers to content needs. Prior to that, he managed a social media, content, and internet marketing solutions service at NCI, oversaw content and site operations for local web studios and other web properties for Cox Enterprises, and spent some years knocking around the online newspaper industry. He got his start in print magazine publishing for a number of now-defunct consumer publications.

Trice Atkinson

SEO & Content Strategy Director, Helium

Trice Atkinson is an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategist with an extensive background in optimizing online media — from working in the trenches coding sites to creating and implementing SEO offerings and SOPs from the ground up. She created a Local Search subspecialty program that has grown exponentially since inception, and has empowered hundreds of organizations to achieve top search results for their digital properties, maximize usability and accessibility, as well as increase traffic and sales.

Anne Campbell

Senior Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

After years working in magazine and newspapers, covering everything from commercial real estate to teen entertainment, Anne Campbell made the leap to the online world. Since joining Helium Content Source, she’s worked with a wide variety of companies and publishers to produce content that meets their specific needs. She particularly enjoys recruiting new writers and finding just the right match for every project.

Becki Harrington-Davis

Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

After beginning her career in the world of book publishing and a volunteer stint producing an online audio drama, Becki Harrington-Davis honed her writing, editing and management skills at several community newspapers. At Helium Content Source, she oversees editorial schedules and encourages the best work out of freelancers. When not deep in the editorial workflow, she enjoys messing around with a hula hoop and studying toward a master’s degree in applied communication.

Cheryl Asselin

Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

A self-described editor who also happens to be a geek, Cheryl Asselin joined Helium in May 2013 as an editorial project manager. She first learned to juggle multiple, shifting priorities and tasks as a managing editor for CIO Magazine and the many other publications the company spawned. Prior to joining Helium, she was a workflow consultant, having implemented a number of K4 workflow management systems for a variety of well-known book, magazine and newspaper publishers. She has also trained hundreds of editorial and design users on the system, and on Adobe InDesign and InCopy. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and running, and serves as the registration and technology director for the Sharon Timlin 5K Race to Cure ALS.

Victoria Scibilia

Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

Launching her career as an editor, Victoria Scibilia brings with her four years of editorial experience to Helium Content Source. Working previously for an educational publisher, and wearing many hats in her position, she was able to work towards perfecting her writing, editing, and social media skills. Coming from a fast-paced editorial environment, she enjoys the multitasking nature of project management. When not working, Victoria likes reading and catching up on her guilty pleasure—reality TV.
