Janice Brand

Vice-President, Helium Content Source

From the world of magazines to the universe of the Internet, Janice Brand has written and edited such publications as Travel & Leisure, Boston magazine and CIO. She worked closely with online launches for such companies as Microsoft and IDG. Since introducing Helium Content Source in 2010, she and her team have delivered projects for large corporations, mid-size publishers and small businesses. When not matchmaking great writers with eager clients, she enjoys fly-fishing, gardening and dancing.

Ed Murray

Director, Helium Content Source

Ed Murray joined Helium Content Source in 2011. He leads the team responsible for the proposals, oversight and management of content-creation projects that are a cost-effective solution for publishers looking to stretch a budget and for businesses that want reliable answers to content needs. Prior to that, he managed a social media, content, and internet marketing solutions service at NCI, oversaw content and site operations for local web studios and other web properties for Cox Enterprises, and spent some years knocking around the online newspaper industry. He got his start in print magazine publishing for a number of now-defunct consumer publications.

Becki Harrington-Davis

Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

After beginning her career in the world of book publishing and a volunteer stint producing an online audio drama, Becki Harrington-Davis honed her writing, editing and management skills at several community newspapers. At Helium Content Source, she oversees editorial schedules and encourages the best work out of freelancers. When not deep in the editorial workflow, she enjoys messing around with a hula hoop and studying toward a master’s degree in applied communication.

Priscilla Colón

Editorial Project Manager, Helium Content Source

Priscilla Colón joined Helium in 2012, bringing with her nine years of experience in educational publishing and online language learning. This former teacher has always looked to combine her love for languages and learning by leading content development projects for educational publishers, corporate clients, and government customers. Her work has run the gamut from developing trade books, magazines, and marketing materials, to translating more than 10 children’s books and creating language-learning programs in a wide array of languages, including Spanish, Norwegian, Baluchi, and Levantine Arabic. When she’s not feverishly working on a project, Priscilla enjoys running, singing, and spending time with her husband and son.
